Firstly, let me express how proud and honored I am to be carrying the responsibility of the Club Captain forward into the 2010 season.
It gives me great pleasure to welcome you for what I trust will be a more relaxed but nevertheless, a very successful season.
West Hoyle is a fantastic golf club and it is only with the ongoing support of you the members to competition days and social events that the club and its committee will continue to move the club forward successfully into the future.
The Captain's "drive -in" takes place 1st light Sunday the 28th March 2010 and I look forward to seeing you all there.
This year the club's annual day out will be at Helsby Golf Club on Friday 16th July.
For those that have played it before, you will know that this course is very well presented and should prove to be well suited for what I know will be a memorable day for all.
This years charity will be the McMillan's Nurses Cancer Appeal and anyone not hitting the 4th Green on the second (or first!!) shot will be asked to donate 50p to the charity bottle held behind the bar.
Hopefully we will have a repeat of last years good weather but please keep an eye on the Notice Board for any changes to the schedule as a result of possible bad weather.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the Committee in advance for their excellent work, time and their commitment which is essential to the continuing well being of the club.
