LOCAL RULES
1. OUT OF BOUNDS
a. A ball is out of bounds if it lies beyond the edges or fences bounding the course.
b. In or over the trench, or over the fence surrounding the practice puttting green.
c. 5th Hole - Over the hedge on right, or in or over trench beyond hedge on right.
d. 6th Hole - In or over trench and over hedge on right.
e. 8th Hole - In or over ditch on left (separating course from practice ground) up to transverse ditch behind the 8th Green.
f. 12th Hole - Enclosure on left and 14th Fairway, within the ends of the enclosure.
g. 13th Hole - Practice Ground.
h. From the 14th tee to the diagonal ditch on left up to the white post and in or over trench between 18th and 12th Fairways up to last white post on the left.
i. 18th Hole - In or over trench and ditch on left up to white post and in or over trench between 18th and 12th Fairways up to last white post on left.
2. 5th and 6th Holes - A ball lying within 2 club lengths of the road may be lifted and dropped behind without a penalty, other than when ball is lying in a hazard.
3. Pond on right of 4th Hole, pond on right of 7th Hole and moat behind 11th Green to be regarded as Water Hazards. (See rule 26.1)
4. All sheds, shelters seats and toilets are integral parts of the course. A ball lying in, on, under or touching any of the above must be played as it lies or lifted and dropped under penalty of one stroke. (Rule 24.2 and 33.2a)
5. Relief may be taken from staked trees and saplings, (two club lengths not nearer the hole. See Notice Board for defined areas.
6. A plugged ball on a fairway or green MUST be lifted.
7. All protection fences are IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS. A ball resting against the obstruction, should be lifted and dropped one club length from the end of the fence, not nearer the hole with no penalty.
8. Ditches on the 1st, 5th, left of 6th, immediately left of 8th tee, 9th beyond white post, to be regarded as LATERAL WATER HAZARDS.
9. All other ditches, other than those mentioned above, to be regarded as water hazards.
10. Stones may be removed from bunkers.

12. A ball coming to rest on a fixed sprinkler head may be lifted, cleaned and dropped within two club lengths of the sprinkler head.
The line of trees between the 12th and 18th fairways are no longer considered saplings.
